I found nothing to like about the characters, and the main character (I refuse to call her a "heroine") was so mousy and non-confrontational that I despised her through the entire book. I had figured out the plot only a few pages in so there wasn't even any suspense. I had been looking forward to this book because I'm a fan of the author, but I was left frustrated and depressed after reading it. I hope Ms. Wainscott gets back on track for her next effort. She's being stalked and is attacked several times, yet she doesn't tell him? She just continues to go about her daily business, knowing her stalker could show up at any minute and taking his physical/mental abuse whenever he does decide to pop into her bathroom or office. He's being manipulated by her supposed best friend and he doesn't think there's something fishy going on? It never seems to enter his mind to question this, or to ask Jonna why her supposed best friend would be doing this. <br /> <br />Mamu's identity was obvious from the start, and there was no suspense whatsoever since it was obvious what was going on with her and Dominic. The only "suspense" came from reading through to the end to find out how the bad guys would be stopped, but even that turned out to be pretty much what was expected. <br /> <br />This was a great premise for a book...I just wish the author would've chosen to use stronger characters and a bit more suspense because she could've had a five-star effort. Mamu’s identity was obvious from the start, and there was no suspense whatsoever since it was obvious what was going on with her and Dominic. I could NOT put this book down.I just couldn't read it fast enough. As I reached the conclusion I found myself not wanting to come to the end & leave the characters behind.Although some of the twists are obvious, fans old & new of Tina Wainscott will appreciate this look at the dark side of blogging.
